KTM Adventure 990 (2006 to 2012) EBC Front Brake Pads (FA209/2) and Rear Brake Pads (FA181)
EBC produce a range of motorcycle brake pads to fit all major makes and models. In addition, EBC also manufacture motorcycle brake pads to suit all riding styles, whether road, race, off- road or scooter.
Listed below are the brake pad compound options that EBC specify for your motorcycle; select the brake pads you wish to purchase (i.e. front, rear or both) and the compound options for those EBC Brake Pads.
Please note:- Brake pads are sold as sets i.e. 1 set per caliper. Where the KTM motorcycle is a Twin Disc model both brake pad sets (2 Sets) are included.
EBC Double-H Sintered
FA Series HH pads benefit from the highest friction Double-H rating for maximum stopping power, sintered copper alloy like original pads for longer life and perfect braking under all riding conditions; wet, dry, hot or cold. When required, unique stainless steel radiator plates are fitted to reduce heat transfer into bikes hydraulics. Also when required a unique double segment vented design keeps the pads cooler and prevents pad drag and overheat or fade.
EBC Kevlar
Made in the England, the EBC Kevlar series has now been renamed NAO series or Non-Asbestos Organic, although EBC still use the famous Dupont Kevlar fibre in conjunction with other high tech fibres that have come on the market. The NAO series are a superb all round value-for-money replacement for all levels of motorcycle and are still extremely popular with many riders who prefer the "feel" of organic pads. NAO series are fully TUV tested and KBA certified and conform to the new ECE R90 brake regulations which are about to storm the European market. EBC is at the forefront of this technology and will be the first on the market to offer Reg. 90 approved pads and packaging. Most EBC organic pads have expansion grooves, which reduce noise and prevent cracking and the aramid fibre compound, with non-ferrous particles, helps to prevent surface "scorching" under load.
EBC "TT" Series
British made with carbon graphite the EBC TT brake pads are perfect for street and moto-x use. EBC TT series disc pads use a carbon graphite formula; this material keeps heat generation and conduction low, which keeps both the rotor and caliper cool. For several years now this successful carbon graphite formula has been the choice of top enduro and moto-x riders.
